1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SkillSafar website, applications, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, browsing roadmaps, or purchasing a subscription, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

  • The Service is intended for learners aged 14+
  • If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law

3. Platform Services

SkillSafar provides curated, roadmap-based learning built from structured missions and levels, progress tracking, gamification (XP, ranks, streaks), community features, and optional creator tools for building roadmaps.

We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. Free access is limited; Pro and Max unlock additional benefits such as expanded roadmaps, certificates, and mentorship as described on our pricing page.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans (Pro monthly and Max yearly) are billed in advance through third-party payment providers. Prices may change; existing paid periods are honored until renewal. Taxes may apply based on your location.

You authorize us and our payment partners to charge the payment method you provide. Failed payments may result in restricted access until resolved. Cancellation and refund rules are set out in our Refund Policy.

5. User Content and Roadmap Creators

You retain ownership of content you create (including private or public roadmaps). By submitting content, you grant SkillSafar a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the Service.

Public roadmaps may require moderation. We may approve, reject, or remove content that violates these Terms, infringes rights, or is harmful. You are solely responsible for the legality and accuracy of content you publish.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not share account access, scrape the platform, or reverse engineer the Service
  • Do not upload illegal, harassing, hateful, or infringing material
  • Do not attempt to disrupt security, gamification fairness, or other users’ experience
  • Do not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit SkillSafar content without permission
  • Follow all applicable laws while using the Service

7. Intellectual Property

SkillSafar branding, UI, software, and curated platform materials are owned by SkillSafar or its licensors. Third-party learning resources (for example YouTube videos or external articles) remain the property of their respective owners; SkillSafar provides structured access and does not claim ownership of those third-party works.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific learning outcomes, job placement, or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkillSafar and its team shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid to SkillSafar in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sylhet / Bangladesh, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence.
